So, here I am;
up a tree;
up a tree;
climbing up was easy,
now I’m stuck.
How do I get down?
Stop laughing, birdbrain,
fat lot of good your tiny wings are on me.

So Friko!
ReplyDeleteAloha
Too funny, this happened to me as a child. They called the fire department to get me down. I'm now afraid of heights. Your top photo is gorgeous - would love this view for a month or two's vacation! (smile)

ReplyDeleteha,ha At first read I pictured you up a tree, calling on all Bloggers to rescue you. Cute n Funny :)
ReplyDeleteWhen I was about 10 I climbed one of the tallest tree in our neighbourhood. I didn't look up or down, I just climbed. When I stopped I could see the next town over and it scared the crap out of me. How the heck did I get so high and what was I thinking? I climbed down and never climbed another tree.
ReplyDeleteClever one, Friko...
ReplyDeleteHi Friko - getting up is easy isn't it - or was wasn't it! Great fun to read and think back on those memories .. I always look at trees thinking I could clamber up them .. no more, no more - she cries!
ReplyDeleteYou saw the Lindisfarne Gospels at the British Library - their normal place of residence ...
Cheers Hilary
