hello !
hm, you’re nice!
oooh, kissie kissie
what, you’re leaving? so soon?
sorry mate, my mum wants to go for a walk.
PS: Millie’s front end is labrador and her back end is collie. Sometimes she gets confused as to the natural course of events. Sheep being sheep, they don’t have a clue either.
haha cute pics with the pups and the sheep...lol....and that castle...wow...i wanna go for that walk too...
ReplyDeleteLove these pictures - wonderful.
ReplyDeleteAw, that's very sweet. And what a gorgeous place.
ReplyDelete"Mint sauce! Mint sauce!" She's probably wondering when they'll become dinner.
ReplyDeleteWow, lots of history where you live, I would love to go for a walk there as well.
ReplyDeleteWoof! Baaaaa! Another cross-species love affair is born. :-)
ReplyDeleteVery funny. Isn't there something creepy about sheep eyes with those horizontal pupils? Like something an alien would have.
ReplyDeleteQuite a lovely and simple i.e. "Simply Lovely" post to heal us like a nice walk with a good pal and her dog in such surroundings. Congrats on your POTW. Glad others may discover the insight and solid companionship I've found in Friko's World. Thank you Dear

Wanted to sit down on the green grass and gaze for a long time at the incredible view. But suspect our shelties would be doing a meet and greet with those wooly sheep. Either way - it would be a lovely walk!!
ReplyDeleteYou live in a place that looks right out of a travel book. Magnificent!
ReplyDeleteHaha! great series of photos and stunning landscape.
ReplyDeleteForgot to say congrats on potw, well deserved from what I've seen so far. I'll be back!
I am in deep chuckle mode! She is so dear (so is the sheep!). And it looks as though she has her priorities straight! The photos are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteha ha that was good
ReplyDeleteYou may have been very cross indeed if you'd left your camera at home - I am very grateful you didn't Friko, this is the cutest.
ReplyDeleteI love this. Is that the church I'm seeing in the background?
ReplyDeleteGreat photos and dialog. Love that photo of castle and surrounding landscape. Peaceful and beautiful.

ReplyDeleteWatching different animals interact is always entertaining haha.
ReplyDeleteToo adorable. She has such a sweet nature. And you're a hoot. That last image is just stunning.
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice little encounter! I wonder what the sheep thought... if it thought anything at all, that is.
ReplyDeleteHi Friko ... it's always good to take all things in ... what wonderful walks you'll be having soon as the daylight gets longer .. love the photos and that sheep is pretty magnificent ... love the horns ...

Oh, she has such a nice nature! My Oscar is a hunting dog, but he loves rabbits and kisses them too ... as long as they are not running!
ReplyDeleteAhhh Friko, how good it is to see that you and Milly are back out on the walking trail. Thank you for taking your camera along, too!
ReplyDeletexo
Lol ! how cute ! Your sheep pictures are fantastic !
ReplyDeleteLovely to see Millie out and about. We had a bearded collie once who was equally as charmed by the sheep. She sat with lambs running all around and over her. Happy Memories. Freda from Dalamory www.freda.org.uk
ReplyDeleteLovely vista, lovely cross-species affection.
ReplyDeleteIs it truly Spring there now?

Thanks for the smile!
ReplyDeleteThe fourth image is stunning! Love this little sequence.
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures!
ReplyDeleteMillie's character is so lovely!
ReplyDeleteThe landscape where you live is awesome, Frico!
I thought I recognised the castle in your header. We lived in Wolverhampton for many years and our favourite walks were in the Mary Knoll Valley near Ludlow. I adore that area.
ReplyDeleteRe the writers group. We have been going for some years. Everyone has suggestions for the AGM as to what we shall write about and then we all tick our favourites - the ones with the most ticks go on the programme. We usually have 5 Open Manuscripts, where everyone can read what they like, and we always have the 'blind' postcard one, where you are given a postcard at random and have twenty minutes to write about it - A challenge but always a great success. We also try to include a Book Review and a Newspaper Article. Hope this is of help.
Oh so charming, makes you think Spring might actually be coming sometime soon.
ReplyDeleteThat's wonderful! How can one not smile at the antics of dogs? thanks for sharing....
ReplyDeleteWoof! Love the pictures, and I've just one word for Millie - attagirl! :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you for my early evening smile
ReplyDeleteas I get ready to turn this machine off.
That's an interesting concept - perhaps a sheep dog would be WAAAAY more effective if s/he actually got on with the sheep??? Then again, maybe a dog's temperament is unsuited for such work. Maybe a sheep CAT would work better??
ReplyDeleteThis is so amusing. I'm reminded of the 'pushmepullyou' of Dr Doolittle's adventures.
ReplyDeleteMillie found a handsome friend I see. Beautiful sheep. Looks like your castle is going to rack and ruin. So sad to see anything deteriorate, but that's life, like it or not. Dianne
ReplyDeleteYou found yourself a very sweet canine friend.
ReplyDeleteYour misty castle always takes my breath away... Your dog is adorable.
ReplyDeleteAww this is just so heart warming.
ReplyDeleteChance encounters are always the best, aren't they?
ReplyDeleteI would love to know what all those creatures are thinking!
ReplyDeleteMillie is adorable!
ReplyDeleteMillie you always look adorable!
ReplyDeleteThese sheep pictures are amazing, Friko!
What a gorgeous view!
