Nature

he is a mystic and a nature mystic. He sees God in the plants and leaves and hills and butterflies. And in the beetles too. Nature ought to be loved in many different ways and on several different levels. One should love it immediately with one's eyes and ears and sense of taste and smell; then with one's imagination as the material of poetry, and last of all mystically, as a means of raising one to God.
