Is anyone else having serious problems posting, commenting, etc?
I'm using a different computer from my usual desktop to post this.
Problems started soon after the new dashboard became universal.
It could be my imac, but that is surely unheard of? An imac going wrong?
I haven't had any problems in the last week. I went through a brief period about a month ago when I couldn't comment on some posts but it seems to have passed. Good luck in your search for an answer.
ReplyDeleteI haven't had any problems and I have an iMac. However, on the computer at the store which uses a different browser, I can't open the dashboard. I can only go to the blogs I follow through my own blog. and I can't make changes to my side stuff from it either.
ReplyDeleteI haven't noticed anything the past couple weeks. I have a MacBookPro. But blogger does have issues off and on. I hope it passes for you and all works well again.
ReplyDeleteyes, I have had problems leaving comments...blogger didn't recognize my gmail account with google ....I have found a way to comment but it is tedious
ReplyDeleteNo problems and I'm a Mac user too. Try clearing your browser cache after you leave a Blogger page, and then restarting it.
ReplyDeleteOh, how frustrating it is when this happens. I have an i-Mac but am not experiencing any problems now. I have done so in the past, pre my i-Mac days. I hope it sorts itself out quickly.
ReplyDeleteI have problems on my mac sometimes when it comes to updating a post I just posted. I refresh the rss feed, and that seems to fix things. It is frustrating when blogger doesn't work right.
ReplyDeleteNo problems here, Friko, and I now have an iMac as you know. All I can suggest is pulling out the plugs, putting them back in, and clearing the cache, as others have said.
ReplyDeleteI had problems with Blogger on my iMac earlier this month, Friko, but it's okay now, inasmuch as Blogger is ever okay.
ReplyDeleteHope you get it sorted out. Blogger seems to drive everyone mad from time to time, as if that is its secret purpose.
Happy New Year!
K
I am having a Sony Vaio and have no problem at the moment.
ReplyDeleteGreetings,
Filip
I have an iMac, but no problems. I never did change to the new dashboard, though. I don't like it. So if I am forced to, maybe I will have problems later.
ReplyDeleteNot on a Mac, so can't comment on this aspect, but just wanted to say that it is still possible to revert to the old dashboard, for the time being at least. However, looking at the Blogger Help forum it looks like a lot of people are having problems posting with the new dashboard, so it isn't just you.
ReplyDeleteI still have problems commenting using Internet Explorer and have to log in only temporarily to be able to comment. I downloaded Google Chrome and now use that for commenting and no problems so far.
Yes...had some glitches while on vacation last week--using my mac laptop.
ReplyDelete'en route' with windows 7, various difficulties to see updates by recently added sites, as they won't appear, while those un-followed won't get away ... bit of funny at the end of the year, though.
ReplyDeletetry using firefox or dumping your history and cookies and see if it clears up...
ReplyDeleteI use an iMac with the new dashboard on Safari, no problems here. No problems with iPhone or iPad either. Probably Blogger and will put itself right, but I suppose you've tried switching off and on again?
ReplyDeleteI thought the new blogger dashboard was mandatorily upgraded, but I have switched back to the old one, there is a button to do so. It still has a few glitches.
ReplyDeleteOkay. There's a new Dashboard?
ReplyDeleteThis is how clueless I am.
Blogger does go a little wonky every now and then, for me, too. I'm on a Mac too and just upgraded to Lion. Seems okay but sometimes I cannot leave a comment for whatever reason. I usually fix that by pulling up another browser. (I usually use Chrome.)
ReplyDeleteI didn't have any problems lately, but it had already happened in the past, but then the next day it was OK again.
ReplyDeleteSnowdrops!! How beautiful. Your Christmas sounds wonderful, but there's nothing quite like other people's ailments or the recounting thereof to make one feel hale and hearty;-)
ReplyDeleteHi Friko .. yes I have heard - though I haven't experienced any challenges yet - touch wood.
ReplyDeletehttp://blogging.nitecruzr.net/ This is the guy to keep you informed of blogger things .. I just note - but if I had a problem .. I'd go search his blog.
Hope it gets sorted .. cheers Hilary
Friko - the snowdrops are gorgeous. thank you for your sweet comment on my last blog post. Happy New Year to you and Beloved
ReplyDeleteAs a matter of fact I was going to post that Blogger has finally got their stuff together for comments!..I haven't had to sign in for weeks..such a little luxury but a luxury nonetheless.
