Whether you like it or not, I've started cooking, the pot is on the stove.
Will all those who have expressed an interest in adding a bone, a herb or two, some soup vegetables or even just a stock cube, and whose email address is not on their blog, please get in touch. My email is on my profile page.
Fridge Soup is where you find the first signs of simmering.
If you'd rather not become a member just yet, that's fine too. If you decide to go with 'Miscellany' on your own blog and you want me to refer to your post, you can leave a comment on Fridge Soup.
Depending on how it goes, Fridge Soup may become a site for members only in due course. Or it may not. (I wish I could stop dithering)
Anyway, let's start peeling carrots.
Don't know yet if i have enough stuff to participate...but I will lurk for a while.
ReplyDeleteI think it is a wonderful idea Friko - I just need to know whether it entails posting once a week - once a month - on the same day as everyone else??? I know I will want to read them...just not sure yet whether I want to 'join'. I'm very jealous of my time to post what I want, when I want. But that's just quirky me. Have to say I loved your miscellany post and I do love fridge soup. So tell me more.
ReplyDeleteTabor and Bonnie,Yes, I forgot to mention the very strict rules.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I will post a set of bits whenever I have enough of them to make the entry worthwhile. Less than once a month would be silly, the site would soon be defunct. But otherwise as and when.
Content should ideally be anything of interest, length not important, whether found (as in the press, say), a snippet of fact or fiction.
Non-subjects preferably seriously religious or political stuff, although
a mild bit of controversy might add spice.
It's such a good idea. And 'Fridge Soup' is a great title. Have sent you an email. Ha ha! The first word verification was 'pasta'! It's a sign!
ReplyDeleteI wish you luck, but have trouble posting interesting stuff to ONE blog, LOL!
ReplyDeleteAloha, Friend!
Comfort Spiral
Guess that it will become a much enjoyed challenge for all six senses.
ReplyDeleteA wonderful Wednesday for you.
With you as head chef, Friko this menu could be a winner.
