  1. Beautiful from afar, but be careful getting too close. That could be said for many things in life.

  5. I always look at these types of ruins and try to imagine warm bodies moving around in the day. What were their worries and did at least one of them have a clue?

  6. Will it just fall naturally? Don't know why I'm asking a question on wordless Wednesday...

  11. ‘Tis a fearful thing
to love what death can touch.

    A fearful thing
to love, to hope, to dream, to be –

    to be,
    And oh, to lose.

    A thing for fools, this,

    And a holy thing,

    a holy thing
    to love.

For your life has lived in me,
    your laugh once lifted me,
your word was gift to me.

To remember this brings painful joy.

    ‘Tis a human thing, love,
    a holy thing, to love
    what death has touched.”

  14. Hi Friko - your castle has caught the mood and also the rain ... the weather is having an impact everywhere isn't it - weakening earth and buildings as it seeps through ...

Wear and tear .. I just hope it doesn't completely go ... cheers Hilary

  16. I think it will crumble bit by bit as the weather bashes up against it. Sad, I bet it was elegant at one time. Do you know what the building was at one time or how elegant it may have been - that would be neat to see. Have a wonderful day.
