  6. it is a MUSUBI, a Japanese food made of good rice wrapped in a band of tasty nutritious sea vegetables.

spam musubi (instead of woman-musubi) is a quick workingman's lunch purchased in a convenience store here in Hawaii.

  7. I think my deathless prose didn't "take." But can I repeat it? Here goes: almost looks like she's the bow. Do you think I should lend her my paisley bell bottoms? Clever response to the prompt, but the, I would expect nothing less from you!

  8. Very clever indeed. I love seeing the take different people have on the same prompt. Thank you.

  12. You have such a clever mind, Friko.
To me it looks like a s'more. I guess it all depends on what's in one's mind at any given moment...

  13. Dear Friko,
I'd give you a gold star also! Plus a month's sojourn on the board of an advertising firm. Plus a one-year subscription to the "Creative Minds" magazine. (Just made that last one up!)

    Peace.

  17. Am I the only one having difficulty with this image? Woman as object yet again?
The question I ask myself is would this be acceptable if a man was tied up? Erm, no.

  19. Ah, Friko! I thought long about the crumpled backing paper before finally deciding it was an example of "the art that conceals art" Or something.
I like your view of this week's picture.
